The kids all had this last week off for the Presidents' Birthdays. We went and saw Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief at the drive in with some friends. It was good, just not like the book. Another day, we went to see Disney's Princess and the Frog with my sister Marilyn and a couple of her kids. I thought it was really well done. The music was great! After the movie, we went to Wendy's for lunch and then to the park to get some of our wiggles out. A couple of days after that we went mini-golfing with my sisters Marilyn and Pam and their kids. We then went to In & Out. Some other things we did this week were: Matt went to Lake Tahoe with his friend Cole and his family for a few days to snowboard. Matt also went to the skate park a couple of times with his friends to ride their bikes in the bowls. Carlin and I went to a birthday party for a friend at a roller rink. That was an adventure. Carlin did great after convincing her it was fun. I even got out there and skated (didn't last long though. I took Carlin and her friend Alyssa in each of my hands. Carlin fell and took me down hard with her. I landed on my bum and have bruised my tail bone pretty good! I can hardly move.) Kylie went to see Avatar with her Grandpa Coulam. She enjoyed that.
