Talent Show

Carlin and Miranda both performed in the school talent show tonight. Miranda played The Entertainer on the piano and Carlin did a dance with some friends. They both did really well and I am proud of them for having the courage to get up in front of people.

Carlin's Choir Performance

Tonight we went to see the Cowan Choir perform. Carlin joined the choir three weeks ago. At the beginning of the school year she didn't want to be in the choir. I think she got tired of having no one else to play with at lunch recess because everyone else was in the choir. Thanks Heather for all your hard work!! They did awesome!!

My Birthday!

It was my birthday on May 15. Now that I am older birthdays don't really seem like they are that big of a deal anymore. However, Warren always seems to spoil me. After we went to Miranda and Carlin's open houses we went out to pizza with the kids. We took the kids home and then Warren and I went to go see Angels and Demons. If you read the book and liked it you will enjoy the movie too. They did a great job. Much better than The DaVinci Code. Below is a pic of me with my new bike Warren got me. Thanks Warren!

Miranda's Open House

Miranda's open house was this Friday too. She showed us some of the stuff she has done this year but she didn't want to get a picture with her teacher. I don't know if she was too embarrassed or was just too cool to pose with her teacher.

Visiting Carlin's Classroom

Friday was Open House for Carlin. We got to visit her classroom to see what she has been learning about this year. Here she is with her teacher and some of the projects she did this year.

Carlin and Friends at Gibson Ranch

Today Carlin went to a birthday party at Gibson Ranch. They learned how to brush a horse, what not to do around a horse, and how to ride. They had so much fun! They didn't even notice that it was pooring down rain the whole time!! Here are some pics. of their adventure.
