Bike Ride on the American River Bike Trail

We decided to attempt to try yet again to do another bike ride on the bike trail. We have tried once before, but I got a flat tire about a mile after we started. Well, this ride didn't last long either. We invited Carlin's friend, Alyssa to come along with us this time. We got started. We crossed the American River on a bridge. As we were riding down the hill on the other side of the bridge, Alyssa got a little scared and braked too hard and went over her handlebars and landed on her face. She didn't break any bones, but scratched herself up pretty good and broke some teeth. We called her parents and they came and got her, but none of us were up to riding anymore after that. We were all too worried about Alyssa. We will have to try it again another time. By the way, now that it has been a few weeks, Alyssa looks great and will have a beautiful smile soon (new teeth).
