FHE

On Monday we had FHE with a couple of families from the ward. These families donated money to the Girls Camp Fund in return for a BBQ/Swim Party at our house. We had a lot of fun with them and getting to know them better. We will have to do it again. Here are some of the pics. we took.

Carlin's last day of school

Carlin's class had ice cream to celebrate the last day of school. The kids had fun socializing and saying good bye. Carlin didn't want to leave her teacher. She had a great year in 2nd grade. She earned several awards. She got certificates for attendance, always turning in her homework and never getting her card turned all year.

Miranda's Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school! Here are some pics. of some of the big projects Miranda has worked on this year and a picture with her and her teacher.

Kylie's 8th Grade Graduation

Tonight, Kylie officially graduated from junior high!! She is no longer the "big man" on campus, but will be a "lowly freshman" next year!! Arden had their promotion and awards ceremony at the Arcade Baptist Church. It was a little over two hours long!! Congratulations Kylie!!!

Carlin's Field Trip to Meet Pen Pal

Carlin's class has been writing to another 2nd grade class here in Sacramento all year. Today they got to meet their pen pal! Carlin's pen pal's name was Meagan. The did a water balloon toss together and ate lunch together, but then separated and played with their friends.

Finally the Last Performances of the Talent Show

Well, today was the last day of the talent show!! I think Miranda and Carlin have done a great job with performing their talents. I am so proud!! So here again are some more pics. of today's performances.
